Pr. Raymond Panneton, Ing., Ph.D.

Professor of engineering at the University of Sherbrooke, Mr. Atalla holds a master's degree from the University of Technology of Compiègne in France, a doctorate in ocean engineering from the University of Florida Atlantic in the United States as well as an engineering degree from Quebec. Mr. Atalla specializes in computational vibroacoustics and acoustic materials. He is recognized by the scientific community around the world for his knowledge and more than 200 of his scientific publications.

Engineering professor at the University of Sherbrooke and holder of a doctorate in mechanical engineering with a specialty in vibroacoustics from the University of Sherbrooke, Raymond Panneton is an expert in the modeling, characterization and optimization of acoustic poroelastic materials. He has published over 250 papers on acoustics and vibrations and recently established a research team on environmentally friendly and structured acoustic materials.

Holder of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a research-type master's degree in acoustic eco-design from the University of Sherbrooke, Julien has more than 10 years of experience in the field of acoustics, vibration and characterization of acoustic materials. Julien is Lean - 6 Sigma certified and he was Trade Show Director of the 26th International Congress of Acoustics and Vibration (ICSV26).

Kévin Verdière, Ing., Ph.D.

R&D director

With a master's and a doctorate in mechanical engineering specializing in acoustics from the University of Sherbrooke, Kévin has more than 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering and has published more than 10 scientific articles. He notably worked on a postdoctoral project on the development and improvement of technologies dedicated to the characterization of materials used for noise control.

Holder of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in acoustics, Rémy has more than 35 years of experience in acoustics and vibrations. He has worked in the NVH sector, the transportation industry, consulting and as a research assistant at the basic science level, among others. Thanks to his vast experience, Rémy will undoubtedly know how to identify your acoustic and vibration problems.

Being in the field of acoustics since 1999, Jean-Philippe has a bachelor's degree in engineering specializing in acoustics and vibration in Toulouse, France, as well as a research-type master's degree in acoustic ecodesign from the University of Sherbrooke. Jean-Philippe has more than 20 years of experience in the field of NVH, he has worked among others in the experimental field for the aeronautical industry and in the field of university research. He is now project manager since 2016 at Mecanum.

Simon holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering as well as a master's degree in ecodesign and micro-macro modeling of sound absorbers from the University of Sherbrooke. Simon currently has more than 8 years of experience in acoustics and vibration and a lot of experience in measuring device design, programming measurement software as well as project management.

Patrick holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke as well as a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke specializing in the development of acoustic and aeroacoustic meta-materials. Patrick has nearly 8 years of experience in acoustics and was the Canadian leader of the German-Canadian NAIMMTA (New Acoustic Insulation Meta-Material Technology for Aerospace) project for the development of a new generation of thermal insulation. acoustics for aviation.

In addition, Vincent obtained 1st place in 2017 at the “National student steel bridge” competition, in Oregon, United States.

Patrick has a machining technique and more than 25 years of experience in machining and mechanical manufacturing. Patrick is a mechanical fabrication artist on standard parts as well as all custom made items. He also manufactures prototypes and mechanical assemblies for complex acoustic and vibration tests.
